Mighty Tip

Olive oil is a great way to increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids help reduce inflammation in the body!

There are infinite ways to make and enjoy pesto! Here is one of my favorites:

Ingredients

  • 3 big handfuls of kale, rinsed

  • 1 cup walnuts

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • juice of 1 lemon

  • 1/4 cup olive oil (*can add more or less depending how thin you want your pesto)

Directions

  1. Throw it all in the food processor and blend until desired consistency! Enjoy!
