Caprese Skewers

Mighty Tip

You’ll get potassium and vitamins A & C from tomatoes! And don’t forget about the calcium from the mozzarella!


Ingredients

  • Cherry Tomatoes (1 package)

  • Mozzarella Pearls (1 package)

  • Fresh Basil (1 package)

  • Balsamic Glaze

  • Italian Seasoning (about 1 tbsp)

  • Toothpicks (or other skewer)

    ****These are are variable on the amount you would like to make and to taste! Feel free to add the glaze and seasoning as desired.

Directions

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes & basil. Drain the mozzarella pearls.

  2. Add Italian seasoning to the pearls. I usually put them back in the container after they’re drained, add the seasoning, close the lid, & shake it all up.

  3. Add a cherry tomato, piece of basil (you’ll likely need to rip up most of the leaves), and mozzarella pearl to the toothpick. Line them up however you want to present them.

  4. Add the balsamic glaze and you’re done! I recommend adding the glaze as close to the serving time as you can.

  5. Enjoy!
