3 Ingredient Blackberry Jam

Mighty Tip

You can make this jam without the maple syrup or honey for absolutely no added sugars!

I am a sucker for good jam, whether it’s on a piece of buttered toast or in the middle of my PB&J! I love to mix this blackberry jam into my overnight oats for a healthy, sweet addition. You can use fresh or frozen fruit to make this recipe!

From this recipe, I was able to get a couple of PB&J’s, a couple of pieces of PB&J Toast, and still had enough to mix into my overnight oats. Feel free to double the amount of fruit if you will need more jam! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator — I usually use a mason jar or some type of glass jar.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz blackberries

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)

Directions

  1. Heat blackberries and lemon juice over low-medium heat in a small pot.

  2. Once the juice starts to bubble, mash the blackberries to your desired consistency.

  3. Once mashed, stir in the maple syrup. Turn off the heat.

  4. Let the jam cool to thicken. Enjoy!
